The 1st International Conference on Circuits, Power, and Intelligent Systems (CCPIS 2023) took place in hybrid mode from September 1-3, 2023. The conference served as a unique platform for the exchange of knowledge among researchers, engineers, scientists, industry professionals, and academicians, addressing recent innovations, trends, and challenges in the fields of circuits, power, and intelligent systems.

The event was graced by eminent personalities, including the Chief Guest, Prof. Banshidhar Majhi, Vice Chancellor of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla, Odisha, and Guest of Honor, Dr. Chinmoy Saha, Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Kerala. Their insights added significant value to the proceedings of CCPIS 2023.

The conference featured six keynote speakers who provided deep insights aligned with the six technical tracks, namely Microelectronic Circuits and Systems Design, Network and Distribution Systems, Multimedia and Signal Processing, Communication Network and IoT, Power, Energy, and Control, and Intelligent Systems and Applications. Distinguished speakers included Dr. Goutam Chattopadhyay from NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, USA, Dr. Ramappa Nagaraja, Managing Director at PRDC Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru, Dr. Bhaskaran Raman, Professor at IIT Bombay, Namerita Khanna from NXP Semiconductors, Dr. Satya Kumar Vankayala from Samsung R&D Institute, Bangalore, and Dr. Sandeep K. Shukla, Professor at IIT Kanpur.

The conference comprised 19 technical sessions moderated by 19 session chairs, with a total of 132 papers registered for presentation, out of 152 accepted papers, reflecting an acceptance rate of 45.37% and a high conversion rate of over 85%. The sessions were conducted both online and offline, providing ample opportunities for networking, collaboration, and in-depth discussions through oral and poster presentations.

Technically co-sponsored by IEEE Kolkata Section and IEEE Bhubaneswar Section, CCPIS 2023 was a resounding success, marking a significant milestone in the continued growth and commitment to research in circuits, power, and intelligent systems, in alignment with current industry standards.
